Overview
This User Manual for the Provisioning Manager application describes the main functionalities and usage of the Provisioning Manager.
The document is intended for the application's users and administrators.
The main purpose of the Provisioning Manager is to ensure the provisioning of different types of resources to the application's users.
This includes:
User management. It centralizes the management in one place and makes it easier. It also simplifies the central management and Single Sign On (SSO) for multiple applications that get used by a user within a company.
Managing Users' Permissions and Responsibilities to control users' access to different parts and functionalities of the applications.
Managing the Master Data for all application, e.g. languages, statuses etc., to make sure this information is consistent in all applications for all users.
Centralizing the System Administration including uptime, log files, security and other system aspects.
Documentation Structure
The structure of the documentation mirrors the menu structure of the application, although in some instances, not necessarily in the same order as seen in the interface.
